12.9英寸iPad Air或将在5月发布 售价提高200美元
4月19号消息，据DSCC首席执行官Ross Young爆料称新款iPad Air将在5月发布，搭载12.9英寸屏幕，价格会贵200美元，799美元起售。
消息表示新款iPad Air将搭载2732 x 2048分辨率的Mini-LED显示屏，拥有2596个全阵列局部调光区，拥有264 ppi、峰值亮度1600nit。根据此前爆料，新款iPad Air将搭载M2处理器、在增大屏幕的同时还可以提升图形/视频的渲染能力、运存8GB起、升级WiFi 6E。虽然预计新款iPad Air没有太多变化，只能说是常规的迭代升级，但是如果新增了12.9英寸版本，会吸引到更多想要大屏平板，却预算有限的消费者。
按照惯例，苹果会采用不开发布会且不发预告，直接通过新闻稿的方式发布新款平板。目前在售的iPad Air（第五代）起售价4799。搭载了10.9英寸Liquid视网膜显示屏、支持P3广色域、2360 x 1640像素分辨率；搭载M1芯片，搭载8核中央处理器，支持4K视频拍摄；支持Apple Pencil(第二代)。
