Our review
What we like
Scale Postgres horizontally by configuring shards. Wire protocol compatible so all existing clients work - they don’t need to be shard aware. Includes connection pooler so you can replace PgBouncer et al. Can run multiple routers for HA. Live config reloading.
What we don't like
Doesn’t support cross-shard queries. Docs are limited - no quick start guide, but browsing the example configs gives you an idea of how to get going.
