Ubuntu开发商Canonical宣布与高通开展定制合作
继昨天Canonical推出Ubuntu Pro For Devices的消息之后，本周Ubuntu领域最新的消息是Canonical与高通公司的合作。Canonical将与高通公司合作，将Ubuntu和Ubuntu Core引入采用高通处理器的设备。高通公司将成为 Canonical 芯片合作伙伴计划的一部分，从而为其平台量身定制优化的 Ubuntu 版本。
在今天的公告中，高通公司称这一战略合作将加快产品上市时间、以安全为先等。
特别是 Ubuntu Core 的重点是高通公司的嵌入式设备，但希望这将导致 Ubuntu Linux 对高通公司笔记本电脑的改进。尤其是即将推出的骁龙 X Elite 笔记本电脑处理器，希望我们能在这些新的 ARM 笔记本电脑上尽快看到对 Ubuntu Linux 的支持。
