宁德时代董事长曾毓群在接受采访时表示，宁德时代与特斯拉在合作开发充电速度更快的电池，并表示宁德时代正在向特斯拉位于美国内华达州的工厂提供设备。
同日，智己汽车也宣布，即将上市的智己L6将率先搭载行业首个量产上车的“超快充固态电池”，引领新能源汽车进入“固态电池时代”。
除了与特斯拉合作，曾毓群还表示，宁德时代还将积极开展内向型和外向型结合的开放式创新，例如宁德时代跟美国客户采用LRS模式，即许可、授权和服务模式，帮助主机厂乃至电池厂商快速建成电池工厂。
