CleanMy®Phone
Your careful cleaner for iPhone and iPad, crafted by MacPaw
Hey Product Hunters!
We at MacPaw are thrilled to announce the launch of CleanMy®Phone — our latest creation that evolved from Gemini Photos, the gallery cleaner we introduced back in 2018.
Over the years, we realized Gemini Photos' functionality could be expanded to more use cases than just gallery cleaning on iOS. That sparked the idea for CleanMy®Phone — an all-in-one AI-powered app that helps declutter your iPhone/iPad storage more efficiently while also monitoring device performance.
CleanMy®Phone intelligently scans your photo library and suggests duplicates, blurry shots, screenshots, etc. that can be removed to free up space. We have also incorporated network speed testing and aim to add more features for a centralized hub focused on your device care.
Our goal is for CleanMy®Phone to ultimately become the most effective solution for iPhone and iPad care. We will continue iterating features to help optimize storage, preserve important data, and more.
Eager to hear your feedback! Let us know what you think!
@sasha_buratynskyi thank you so much for your warm feedback!
As for the immediate next steps, we plan to continue improving the accuracy and speed of our on-device AI model and add more classification categories for photos. There also might be some more synergies with other MacPaw products; stay tuned 👀
@dne Thank you, happy to see a CleanMyMac user 🙏
We are using a custom on-device AI model that manages your photos and videos locally and anonymously. The app doesn't need an internet connection to perform the analysis, doesn't send any files or information (such as metadata) associated with them elsewhere, and doesn't collect or transfer by any means your personal data.
Congrats on the launch, MacPaw team 🎉
This is a super creative, outside the box idea.
I'll give you one more use case to address 🙂: getting rid of photos that were temporarily useful for a short period, but are not meant to be kept long term.
For example: sometimes I take a picture of where I parked my car so I can return to it. I don't need photos like this to stick around for years 🙂
The bulk of photos that I delete are of this type.
