Here is a useful overview of all metrics and dimensions used by Google Analytics 4 to be printed out and shared.
Since our last metrics and dimensions cheatsheet was shared in early 2019, Google Analytics 4 has been released and Universal Analytics has been discontinued.
I shared my impressions in this blogpost and since then, there have been some small updates. The tool is certainly less buggy, the admin panel looks better and recently some consent checks have found their way in. GA4 remains a powerful and advanced leader among analytics platforms and we use it for many of our clients.
Below is an updated cheatsheet with GA4 metrics and dimensions (sourced from Google that you can print out and use when exploring the possibilities and/or planning dashboards.
