Private equity real estate investments see 26% drop in first nine months of FY 2024
- Despite a 26% decline in private equity investments into real estate, multi-city transactions rose, led by Brookfield India REIT and GIC.
- Commercial real estate saw an increased share in PE deals, while residential real estate activity decreased.
- Foreign investments increased to 86% in 9M FY24, while domestic investments fell to 14% of total capital inflows into Indian real estate.
