Arthur Bacci is the Interim CFO at WSFS

WSFS Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: WSFS) has announced that Arthur J. Bacci, the Executive Vice President and Chief Wealth Officer of WSFS Financial Corporation, will now take on the role of Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for WSFS. This appointment follows the departure of Dominic C. Canuso, the former CFO of WSFS, whose association with the company will conclude on August 31, 2023.

Before becoming part of WSFS in 2018, Bacci demonstrated successful leadership across various business segments during his 16-year tenure with the Principal Financial Group. His roles included serving as President and CEO of Principal Bank, CFO and CEO of Principal Trust Company, and CFO of Ashton Technology Group, Inc., a publicly traded company on NASDAQ.

Rodger Levenson, Chairman, President, and CEO of WSFS Bank, emphasized Bacci’s familiarity with the company, his proven leadership abilities, and his professional background, making him well-suited for the interim role as they begin the search for the next Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Levenson extended gratitude to Dominic for his service and wished him success in his future endeavors.

In addition to his responsibilities at WSFS, Bacci is actively engaged on the Boards of Teach for America Delaware and the Delaware Business Roundtable Education Committee. He attained a B.S. in Finance from San Jose State and an MBA from Santa Clara University. He has also participated in leadership and management programs at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business.
