Naver launches generative AI tools, to expand search engine offerings
- Naver releases generative AI tool HyperCLOVA X with services including a ChatGPT-like AI chatbot CLOVA X, and an AI-based search engine Cue.
- HyperCLOVA X, an upgrade from its previous model, is available for creators and enterprise customers; the company also plans to develop multimodal language models.
- Naver targets expansion in South Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, with its second data centre launching in November.
