Delhi High Court Seeks Clarification on ‘Reasonable Efforts’ in IT Rules, 2021

- This request is a result of Starbucks’ lawsuit against the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) and domain registrars over trademark-infringing websites.
- If platforms can’t comply, they risk losing their safe harbour protections, shielding them from liability for third-party content.
