根据国家疾控局近日发布的消息，新冠病毒流行株中，EG.5变异株占比呈上升趋势，目前已在中国绝大多数省份形成优势流行，并且未来一段时间内很可能继续保持此趋势。中山大学附属第三医院感染疾病科主任医师林炳亮表示，目前没有观察到新冠病毒变异株出现致病力增加。除了EG.5，世卫组织也监测到了新冠病毒其它的新变异株，如刚被列入“监测中的变异株”名单的BA.2.86变异株。林炳亮指出，新变异株变异位点较多，因此受到特别关注，但目前来看无需特别恐慌。
