Question Remove uninstalled but downloaded UI 6 Beta?

I made a boneheaded, rash decision to enroll in the UI 6 Beta program. I went ahead and downloaded the update then came to my senses and realized that I'm not a good candidate for beta testing.

So now I've got the beta downloaded and the phone keeps nagging me to install it. I'm trying to figure out how to delete the download so I can then withdraw from the beta program.

I've posted on the Samsung Members forums but not received a clear answer - even from the beta forum moderators. Do here I am looking for a solution.

I don't want to factory reset my phone, takes too much time to reconfigure my apps.

My preference is to remove the uninstalled download, then withdraw from the beta.

Worried that leaving the phone in this state will prevent any subsequent updates from downloading.

Has anyone successfully removed a downloaded but uninstalled firmware update?

Thanks in advance.

THIS IS A SUGGESTION, NOT ADVICE. Try to flash, via ODIN, the same firmware you currently have. As you have not installed the Beta, this may be removed during the replacement - IF YOU FLASH < HOME > there should be no loss in data, it will not wipe the partition(s), just replace what is there - MINUS THE BETA. As a result, you will still get the invite to join the program, if this is the case, then the downloaded has been removed. If you are still enrolled, then your device may be registered with the Beta Server and is waiting for you to install it.

Thank you for the suggestion. I've never used ODIN and am hoping for a less drastic solution. I will keep this in mind however if nothing else surfaces. Appreciate your reply!

Clear the cache and data of the System Update app(s).

Which apps are those and where do I find them? Don't see anything obvious in Settings/Apps.

Use something like Package Names to see all of the apps in your device.
