香港理工大学成立元宇宙实验室，并获 1000 万港元捐赠
据信报 8 月 10 日报道，香港理工大学与港股上市公司高升集团共同成立“元宇宙 + 联合实验室”。高升集团拟在未来 5 年向理大捐赠 1000 万港元。新成立的实验室将把元宇宙技术推展至企业协作、工业应用、环保及智慧城市、能源管理和可持续供应链系统等。目前香港理工大学已设立区块链科技、元宇宙科技、人工智能及大数据计算等多个硕士课程，并在本科生课程内增加人工智能及数据分析等内容。
