半导体巨头行业入局RISC-V – 开源派
半导体领先行业巨头高通、恩智浦（NXP）、北欧半导体（Nordic Semiconductor）、博世（Bosch）和内存巨头英飞凌联合投资成立一家合资公司，入局 RISC-V，合资公司在德国建立，旨在推动 RISC-V 的全球普及, 加速基于开源RISC-V架构的未来产品的商业化。
合资公司剑指高通竞争对手ARM，RISC-V 作为开源架构，无需像 ARM 那样支付版税。最初的应用重点将是汽车，但最终将扩展到包括移动和物联网。高通产品管理高级副总裁Ziad Asgha表示，高通投资RISC-V已经超过五年，已经将RISC-V微控制器集成到许多高通商业平台中。相信RISC-V的开源指令集将增加创新，并有可能改变行业。
