API to connect your LLM to the internet
Hey Producthunt! Today we’re publicly announcing the general availability of the Metaphor API, the only tool you need to connect your LLM to the internet.
A huge limitation of LLMs is that they only have access to the knowledge in their weights. This means that they don’t know about the world past their training date.
WIth the Metaphor API, you can connect your LLM to the internet, using our high quality neural search or keyword search. You can then get beautifully parsed HTML for any of those pages instantly. It’s as simple as `results = metaphor.search(“your search”).get_contents()`.
It’s free to use, up to 1000 requests/month. If you email us at [email protected] telling us you’re coming from Producthunt and give us a description of what you’re building, we’ll make that 2000 requests/month for a limited time!
