I've built this Chrome extension to solve my own problem. I work in a distributed team and also have a multi-continental family. I wanted an easy way to always know what time it is for my teammates or loved ones.
I was a long time user and fan of the Momentum Chrome extension before, so I wanted something similar - a simple, clean new tab that also solves my problem.
As an interesting personal note: I've built the majority of this project last summer, when our second child was born. During my paternity leave I wanted to work on a fun project, that's small, but interesting. I've been using it for a while now, and I thought it might be useful for others too.
Congratulations to @rauschermate for launching Cityzen! The multi-column layout with timezones and weather is perfect for my international team. Just wondering, does it have support for customizing the background image?
