台湾“中央社”7月21日消息，台积电全球研发中心将于7月28日启用，预计进驻8000名台积电研发人员。台积电董事长刘德音此前曾表示，台积电规划把全球研发中心打造成台湾的贝尔实验室，进行台积电未来20、30年的研发大计。他指出，半导体业是国际竞赛，科技技术日新月异，产业界要靠自己的力量。
