快科技7月4日讯，RTX 4090率先引入了全新的12VHPWR 16针供电接口，最高供电能力达600，可没成想上市后烧毁案例不计其数，位置多发生在插口处。
厂商CableMod随后推出了直角拐弯的12VHPWR显卡电源线，号称方便插拔、也能避免线缆应力弯曲。
然而，在卖出4万多套后，网络社区开始出现不少用户也遭遇电源线烧毁的报告。
有老鸟指出，CableMod的90度拐弯电源线问题在于容易左右摆动，或许是造成事故的原因。
此前，NVIDIA在调查后将"锅"甩给了用户，称是大家没插好导致烧毁。
好在PCI SIG组织正在制定新的12V-2x6接口以取代12VHPWR，电气结构、卡口固定方式等均发生变化，希望不会重蹈覆辙了。
