勒芒24小时耐力赛（24 Hours of Le Mans）是最负盛名的赛车比赛。在2022年的比赛上，只要赢得这场比赛，本田就将成为勒芒有史以来最佳制造商。
但不幸的是，本田只获得了第三名。
失败并没有令本田沮丧。它联合DDB Paris推出《The Beautiful Fail》，用参加比赛的摩托车的发动机油作为墨水，绘制出了24张丝网印刷图片，捕捉了团队在这24小时的耐力赛中喜悦、怀疑与失望的精彩瞬间。每张图都记录了照片拍摄的时间，并附有一句宣言。
