Oppo Find N3 Flip render confirms additional camera module

In 2023, foldable phones with flip designs are set to feature larger displays. This month, Motorola presented the Motorola Razr 40 series with bigger displays, and Samsung will follow suit with the Galaxy Z Flip5. However, it is worth remembering that the Oppo Find N2 Flip was the phone that started this trend. Had Samsung or Motorola planned this before? Maybe, but in any case, it was Oppo that managed to kickstart the trend before all others. The Oppo Find N2 Flip was also the brand’s first foldable to launch globally, and despite it being a relatively new phone, the brand is already planning a sequel. That said, the first render for the Oppo Find N3 Flip suggests a notable change.

Oppo Find N3 Flip will get 2x optical zoom thanks to a new camera

The render that comes as a courtesy from 91mobiles depicts the back design of the Oppo Find N3 Flip. Apparently, the phone will not make any changes to the cover display. At least for now, Oppo will not start playing an enlargement game with Motorola and Samsung. Despite this, there is a notable change, the phone seems to be getting one more camera. Although the camera setup design remains the same, we can spot a third camera.

According to the source of this leak, the Oppo Find N3 Flip will share the cameras with the recently-released Oppo Reno10 Pro. That means the phone will bring a 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS. There is also an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and a 32 MP 2x optical zoom snapper. The latest is the big addition to the Oppo Find N3 Flip which means it will get some “super zoom” capabilities.

As for the remaining details, the Oppo Find N3 Flip won’t take major departures when compared to its predecessor. The second notable change should be the upgrade to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The Oppo Find N2 Flip uses the last year’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, so the next step is to pick the SD8 Gen 2. Other details remain unclear, but the display and battery specs should remain unchanged. We don’t know when exactly Oppo plans to launch N3 Flip, but we will keep you informed if anything new appears on the radar. The Find N2 Flip arrived in December last year, so that could also be the case with the next clamshell foldable.
