Just like the title says. Its a 2021 14" M1 MBP for $1000 - The laptop looks super clean from the pictures I've seen. Is this a great deal or just so so?

Old saying applies:
"If it looks too good to be true...."

Check to see if it's enrolled in an MDM by doing this:
Open terminal and enter:
profiles status -type enrollment

IF you get any other answer than "no", hand it back and politely decline the sale.
It's probably stolen.

It also depends on which variant (configuration) of the MBP they are selling. While it is a small possibility that the seller either doesn't know or doesn't care about the actual resale value, it is also possible that this machine was obtained through less than legitimate methods, especially if it is a higher specced variant of the 14" Pro.

As Fishrrman said.... if it looks to good to be true it is. It might be stolen or have "hidden" problems.

As others have said, it’s too good of a deal. If it’s from a genuine seller, that would be a very great price for such powerful machine. If, however, you can’t confirm the credibility of the seller, then it’s way too fishy.

If it’s from a genuine seller,
that has a good return policy, warranty, reviews, etc.

Lots of posts in MacRumors about "good deals" that resulted in buyers losing all of their money.
