Apple Could Raise iPhone 15 Pro Models Prices By Up To $200, Says Analyst

Now that we are through WWDC 2023, the iPhone 15 series is pretty much around the corner. And while we have had many leaks about the pricing of the lineup, the credibility of most of them was questionable. Well, if you were looking for a reliable pricing forecast of the series, Dan Ives has your back.

Don’t know who Dan Ives is? He is a renowned Wall Street analyst who is known for his accurate predictions. And according to the professional analyst, Apple is projected to raise the prices of its iPhone 15 lineup. This would be the first price hike from Apple in the United States since 2017.

Apple iPhone 15 Can See Up To $200 Price Hike

Daniel Ives has previously forecasted the international price increase of the iPhone 14 series. And as you might know, the entire lineup saw anywhere from $80 to $172 in the international markets. Well, at a session on CNBC, Dan Ives stated that Apple will follow the same strategy for the iPhone 15 series.

Even though Dan Ives did not specifically mention the U.S. prices, he believes Apple will raise Average Selling Prices (ASPs). He states that the iPhone 15 Pro models will see a more prominent price hike than the regular models.

As per Ives, the Pro models could potentially see up to a $200 price hike. To give you an idea, the current iPhone 14 Pro Max costs $1,099, while the 14 Pro is $999. That means the iPhone 15 Pro could sell for around $1,199, while the iPhone 15 Ultra could cost $1,299.

Through this, he believes that Apple will raise its valuation. He predicts that valuation will go from $2.85 trillion to $3.5 trillion-$4 trillion in the next 18 to 24 months. As Dan Ives says, “Apple is playing chess, others are playing checkers.” In other words, Apple does not joke around when it comes to business.

Nonetheless, even though Dan Ives is very reputable, you should treat this information with a grain of salt. Nothing is confirmed until Apple makes an official statement regarding the pricing of the series.
