in the joying update there is no mcu and no display driver.
unfortunately
I found and tested some 800x1280 display drivers.
either no picture or display brightness about 50% and cannot be regulated. displayname in the system changes with the installed driver.
Why MCU?
As far as I know this is "just" a setting. The MCU is undependent from an LCD/IPS or QLED screen, but I have been wrong many times before.
Did Joying mention something differently?
Joying "Candy" wants video.
She thinks you can see everything and doesn't think it's too dark.
Very difficult communication.
She says she only has the update.
Apparently she doesn't want to ask the technician.
Who has a joying with 800x1280?
What is the display exactly? to see in the system info.
MCU is the "bios" for the "board" after all.
Maybe there is also something about the display connection?

Candy?? You know who Candy is? Read the white board behind the boys! ("Instruction from the boss: Say you are Candy. They buy more from women")
Germans = Dutch = French = Australian = Polish = Ukranian = Russian = Spanish = Italian = etcetera
But again: Some of the resellers sell units with IPS / QLED / IPS 2000x1200 / QLED 2000x1200/ IPS 1024x768/ etcetera, all with the same MCU.
I have had many discussions with "Candy" when I had my Joying Sofia-3GR (2x as the first broke quite fast)/ PX5 and sc9853i. It was always very tedious. No technical background and no access to FYT developers it seemed.
As long as I don't have the original MCU, I don't want to test any other.
Only where is the error? The brightness is too low and can not be regulated.
Apparently only Joying has devices with 800x1280
The main problems with the current unit is that the sleep mode and the whitelist does not work and maps does not change the theme (bright/dark) by set head lights on or off.
Can someone confirm that these things are working correctly with the FYT based unit?
