Following last week's reveal, upcoming zombie shooter Arizona Sunshine 2 is officially heading for Quest headsets.
Previously revealed during the PlayStation Showcase last week, Arizona Sunshine 2 is a zombie survival first-person shooter, bringing a "cinematic next chapter" to 2016's Arizona Sunshine. Promising "next-gen mutilation and gore" with only PSVR 2 and PC VR versions confirmed last week, it left some wondering about Meta's family of standalone headsets. Evidently, Vertigo Games was just waiting for the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase.
Confirmed during today's presentation, Vertigo revealed Arizona Sunshine 2 is also coming to Quest 2, Quest Pro and Quest 3, the latter of which Meta formally announced earlier today. Set one year after the original game, Vertigo calls this "the surprisingly light-hearted story of a profoundly lonely man desperate to find another living person" in this post-apocalyptic Arizona, partnering with a dog called Buddy.
Arizona Sunshine 2 arrives later this year on Quest 2, Quest 3, PC VR and PSVR 2.
