Mach49 organized an exciting webinar on the success story of Schneider Electric. By supporting innovation, the multinational energy leader continues to positively impact the industry, its employees, and the natural environment.

Steadily, the company has successfully launched new ventures over the past six years, like Clipsal Solar, NaviX, and Grain Ecosystem. Schneider Electric’s «Dare to Disrupt» venture competition made its employees go deep into their creativity and passions, bringing to the surface over 240 ideas. The acceptance of the «Dare to Disrupt» Venture Competition was significant since its engagement across the platform reached 80.000 website views with more than 2,500 workshop attendees. Also, 242 teams participated from 44 countries. Twenty-four teams were shortlisted.

Grain Ecosystem’s successful launch and growth draw from the support, resources, and expertise provided by Schneider Electric, which gives Grain a significant head start in the fast-paced, increasingly competitive global market. Through the development of disruptive solutions like Grain Ecosystem, Schneider Electric exemplifies the crucial role that companies play in addressing climate change and ensuring a more sustainable future for all.

With more than 135.000 employees in over 100 countries and 34 billion euros in revenues in 2022, Schneider Electric can be proud of its environmental footprint since it saved and avoided 440 million tonnes of CO2 emissions to its customers since 2018. The incubation practice is really meaningful because we are filling the gap between what is available now and what is needed to achieve our future mission».

Ryan Letourneau, CEO and co-founder of Grain Ecosystem, said that «many times winning comes from putting yourself at the right place, at the right time for that market, and for us when we look at the Schneider Electric story, it’s first-class when it comes to decarbonization. When I was thinking about what problem I could solve and where the real opportunity was, it was in that area that I was passionate about decarbonization.
