Hey Product Hunters! 👋

My name is Moe Majeed, founder of Netflare and a former Senior Software Engineer at Amazon.

I created Netflare because I saw a huge gap in Operational Excellence (OpEx) and service uptime between startups and big tech. Most OpEx solutions are complex and costly to set up, which often leads startups to ignore best practices or only implement them partially. It really shouldn’t be that hard to get started.

That’s why we recently launched Pulse. Pulse is a free tool that:

🚨 Periodically checks your website or API endpoints to determine the health status of your web service. 🚀 Automatically raises an alarm and helps you mobilize support to resolve the issue promptly. 🙌 Works seamlessly with any web service. You just need to enter your web page or API endpoint URL and Pulse will start monitoring it for you. 💯 Checks the output and response time of your web service for any issues. It can detect errors such as 404, 500, timeout, etc. ⏱ Allows you to customize the frequency and location of your web checks. You can choose how often you want Pulse to ping your web service and from which regions you want to monitor it. 📊 Provides you with a dashboard where you can see the status and performance of your web service over time. You can also view detailed reports and logs of each web check.

Pulse is designed for scaleup companies who don’t have the budget to spend time adding extra code and configuration to their system to monitor its health. You can set it up in just 5 minutes. There's no need for installations, configurations, or hassles. It's designed to just work.

To ensure you don’t miss out on the bigger OpEx picture, Pulse integrates with Netflare Ticket to track outages, and Netflare Pager to notify the right people to get them on the issue and provide a quick resolution. They are not required for Pulse to operate, but they are available for free when you are ready to expand your operation.

Despite being in the industry for 15 years, a decade of which at Amazon, I don't think I've ever seen an easier way to "keep your finger on the pulse" of your website or API endpoints. It's amazing that the Netflare found a way to do this completely unobtrusively.
A great product that auto tracks uptimes and degradation, and allows you to act before customers do... Its like your eyes on your application or site 24 /7. Highly recommended for any and all companies... best part is the cost... FREE!
