据报道，消息人士称，微软(312.31, 5.31, 1.73%)旗下必应（Bing）搜索的领导曾告知同事，微软希望竞标火狐（Firefox）浏览器的合同，后者与谷歌(112.28, 4.34, 4.02%)的合同今年将到期。
今年2月，必应搜索引入生成式AI，推出了聊天机器人。微软CEO萨提亚·纳德拉表示，这一功能将给必应注入活力，并给搜索引擎巨头谷歌带来压力。但在过去的几个月，必应与微软的竞争中暂无明显进展。
Statista数据显示，截至3月，必应搜索在全球PC端搜索引擎的市场份额为8.23%，和去年底的8.95%相比反而有所下降；而同期谷歌搜索的份额则从84%上升至85.53%。
这一现实可能会让必应在搜索领域中转向一个选择：取代谷歌成为火狐或者苹果(173.555, 1.78, 1.04%)家的Safari浏览器的默认搜索引擎。
