Bittrex 申请第 11 章破产保护：资产和负债均在 5 亿至 10 亿美元之间，债权人超 10 万
据 The Block 5 月 9 日报道，加密交易所 Bittrex 已在美国特拉华州提交第 11 章破产保护申请，资产和负债估计价值均在 5 亿至 10 亿美元之间，并且有超过 10 万名债权人，另外两家实体 Bittrex Malta Ltd. 和 Bittrex Malta Holdings Ltd. 也向美国特拉华州破产法院申请破产保护。
据悉，Bittrex 曾是美国最大的加密货币交易所之一，2018 年初美元支持市场份额接近 23%。这一数字在 2021 年跌至 1% 以下，此后一直没有恢复。此外 Bittrex 发言人称，申请破产保护不会影响 Bittrex Global，面向美国以外客户的业务将继续正常运营。
此前报道，美 SEC 在今年 3 月向 Bittrex 发出韦尔斯通知，指控其在未向监管机构注册的情况下作为交易所、经纪自营商和票据交易所开展业务。Bittrex 宣布于 4 月 30 日关闭美国业务。
