The Google Pixel Fold Takes Center Stage in an Official Teaser
In case you missed it, the Google I/O event is just a few days away. Set for May 10, the event has a boatload of devices ready to be unveiled. Among them, you have the Google Pixel 7a, which just recently popped out in eBay listings, and the Google Pixel Fold. And even though we learned pretty much everything about the device, Google has just dropped a teaser video.
As per the last leak, we had a semi-official glimpse at the hinge and the back of the Google Pixel Fold. And those pictures showcased a remarkable thin hinge. To be exact, it was thinner than the current competitors. Well, if you were wondering whether the foldable will indeed have thinner hinges, Google is here to answer that with a teaser video.
“May the Google Pixel Fold Be With You”
So, from the teaser video, the hinge seems pretty much on par with the current competition. At least, in my view, it does not appear to be thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Of course, things will become more clear when Google Pixel Fold is officially out.

Other than that, it appears that the leak regarding the internal screen was true. Google Pixel Fold will indeed come with thick bezels. And in my opinion, Google likely did not want to use an under-display camera for its first folding device. Google might have housed the front-facing camera within a thick display bezel for that reason.
Internal Display of Pixel Fold
Yes, there’s no punch-hole cutout on the internal screen! Google might have taken this decision to ensure that the camera experience remains Pixel-quality. After all, under-display cameras still need a lot of work to be as better as regular front-facing cameras. And that’s pretty much it from the teaser. On that note, Google did not mention anything about the price of Pixel Fold in the teaser. But it is expected to be priced at between $1300 and $1500.
