Google 母公司 Alphabet 董事长 Sundar Pichai 在 2022 年获得 2.26 亿美元的总报酬，大部分是通过股票奖励获得，与前年相比暴增近 35 倍。至于 Alphabet 和 Google 其他高层每年的股票奖励约 2,200 万至 3,500 万美元。
根据 Google 21 日缴交的证券档案，Sundar Pichai 去年获得的总薪酬约 2.26 亿美元，是员工薪酬中位数 800 倍以上，主要是通过三年一次的股票奖励获得 2.18 亿美元，他的薪资方案还包括去年近 600 万美元的个人安全费。
自 2020 年到 2022 年，Pichai 的年薪大约在 200 万美元，而他 2021 年总薪资为 630 万美元，当时就没有股票奖励。
与此同时，Alphabet 正启动债务重组，并于 1 月宣布计划全球裁员1.2 万人，占员工总数 6%。Google 财务总监 Ruth Porat 于 4 月初宣布，将减少员工的笔记本电脑和服务，以进一步降低成本。
