How to purchase a new email domain to use with iCloud Mail

If you subscribe to iCloud+, you can purchase your own domain. Then you can send and receive email from a personalized email address with iCloud Mail.

What you need

To purchase a domain to use with iCloud Mail, you must be aged 18 or older and have:

  • An Apple ID with two-factor authentication turned on.
  • A primary iCloud Mail email address set up to use a custom email domain. 

To share a domain with others, make sure that they also have an Apple ID with two-factor authentication turned on and have a primary iCloud Mail email address.

Purchase a domain on your iPhone with iOS 16 or later

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap iCloud, then select iCloud Mail.
  4. Select Custom Email Domain, then tap Continue. 
  5. Select Buy a Domain.
  6. In the text field, enter the domain name that you want to purchase.
  7. Tap Search. If the domain or similar domains are available, pricing options are listed. 
  8. Select a domain, then follow the onscreen steps to complete your purchase. 

A third-party registrar handles the sale of each domain. For billing or refund issues, contact them for support. 

Custom Email Domain isn't available in all countries or regions.
