5月2日消息，近日，有消息指出，
微软正在招募相关领域的工程师，计划提出自研Arm芯片，从而与苹果的M系列芯片进行竞争。
微软将其芯片工作归类为“Microsoft Silicon Team”，这些招聘页面大多于4月底刚刚上线。
其中，根据微软对首席SoC Silicon架构师的描述来看， 微软希望新的芯片能够带来独特的硬件架构与功能，并同时保证足够高的性能。
由此来看，微软很清楚地知道自己目前需要投资的内容，而非盲目的模仿苹果的脚步。
