三星目前在折叠屏手机市场算是一家独大，在翻盖式折叠屏领域除了华为与moto外，很少有对手。
现在，三星下一代产品Galaxy Z Flip5的消息也流露出来，从最新的渲染图来看，新机采用较上代更大尺寸的屏幕，并且是异形设计，除了影像模组区域外，尽可能覆盖更多的空间。
据DSCC分析师Ross Young消息，三星Galaxy Z Flip5将搭载3.3英寸到3.4英寸副屏，目前的Flip4仅有1.9英寸副屏。
此外，三星Galaxy Z Flip5内部屏幕也会进行升级，采用新的铰设计，进一步让折痕显示不明显。
其他方面，三星Galaxy Z Flip5将后置双摄，既可充当后置摄像头使用，也可用于自拍，机身中框采用的是直边设计，处理器预计是骁龙8 Gen 2 for Galaxy定制芯片。
