I always try and find the things I'm looking for at a nearby store so I can simply go pick it up. To me, it's better than waiting around for shipping even for things I don't necessarily need right away. Would you purchase from a nearby store instead of Amazon? Why or why not? Thank you!
This might completely change how I find things and feels like it will help me break the dependence Amazon that means extra packaging and carbon emissions. Feels like this could have a real impact on local business and for places like NY, where I live, it's especially interesting. Excited to see how this develops and congrats on the launch!
@mattspangler We don't spend enough time talking about the environmental impacts of this. At any given moment there are about a trillion packages just banging into each other in US airspace. Let's change this.
This is a magical product, and I think @zachianblank is underselling its biggest value: you can price compare any product you're thinking of buying plus get recommendations for similar products. I was thinking of buying a $100 pair of pants. Hurry helped me find basically the same product at 1/3 the price. Very cool.
@wwshaef Nice one! There're a million apps out there that'll show you deals and tell you when something goes on sale.
