[KERNEL][4.4.302+][for Android 9] A2N Kernel for Galaxy S8
Kernel defaults are already optimized for battery life. You may need to enable zram over init.d and set swappiness @ 175. In demo version some settings can't be changed.
u mean init.d 100% adjust zram size to 100% ?????
whats the best custom rom for battery life for my s8 light rom?
For battery life i use default setting is for battery life and make sure resolution @720p

I guess he meant the resolution in the samsung optimizer profile, so far i know theres no setting in the a2n app besides the dex/hdmi resolution.

AndroidSettings --> Display --> Resolution --> use 1080p.

Me watching my S8 crash during the 10th attempt in AnTuTu V9 run at 2652MHz after it took me half an hour to setup the cooling (It's just in no way stable at that frequency).

OK guys, new release is fully rolled-out!
For max performance and best gaming/benchmark experience, you can use the following settings:
DVFS max temp for CPU/GPU 100 °C
do CPU/GPU OC or use profile "Performance Plus".
CPU lit/big: enable "Boost"
GPU: enable "Gaming Mode"
RAM: enable "Use Swap" (zRam Size 50 %)
This will be your most fast and smooth experience ever on this phone!Yes I'm working on R59.
It'll have better memory management for multitasking and less aggressive swap usage. Also fake enforce enabled by default. That's already done and phone works so much better now.
One last thing i'll try today once again is to hack RAM OC. I'm still convinced that it should be possible, even if not easy of course.
As for your requests, I don't think that works, I had already tried this a few months ago and changed all values for 60 hz at 100 hz in source code and nothing happened.
As for slow app update, yes is normal due to "speed" dex optimization.
And it needs CPU speed for compiling.New Kernel and App are Up!
Hi Guys,
I'm very happy to provide to you one more update for this phone.
Probably this is our final build since everything is optimized to the max and it works stable. But like always, "never say never".
Of course if there is some critical security leak that could appear in the future in the Linux/Android kernel that could affect the security of this phone, then it'll be fixed ASAP.
