今天（3月24日）农历闰二月初三，月掩金星这幕星月童话将亮相天宇。今晚的月亮是轮弯弯的月牙，好似一条小船。
作为夜空中最亮的行星，金星登上“月亮船”，被月亮完全掩盖，再从月牙的亮边缘复现， 央视新闻对此正进行直播。
据中国科学院国家天文台助理研究员郑捷介绍，从全球范围来说，月掩金星每年都会出现一到两次。就国内而言，下一次夜间可见的月掩金星将发生在2026年。
月掩金星就是从地球上看过去，月亮正好遮掩了金星。简单地说， 月掩金星发生时，就是地球、月亮、金星三者排成了一条直线。 但由于月球比地球小很多，因此只有在掩食的中心带上可以看到月球遮掩金星。
