游戏巨头 Nexon 将在 Polygon 上推出 NFT 游戏 MapleStory Universe
据 Decrypt 报道，游戏巨头 Nexon 周二在旧金山游戏开发者大会上宣布，正在根据其流行的像素化 2D 角色扮演系列游戏创建一个新的 Web3 游戏，名为 MapleStory Universe，而且正在为这个新游戏在 Polygon 上推出一个私人的 Supernet。Polygon Labs 全球游戏和平台业务发展副总裁 Urvit Goel 透露，即将推出的 Polygon Supernet 将允许 Nexon 拥有自己的“专用应用程序链”。此外，MapleStory Universe 不会有 NFT 预售，玩家只需玩游戏就能获得 NFT。Nexon 表示，MapleStory Universe 最终也会有自己的加密代币，尽管这方面的细节还没有最终确定。
据悉，MapleStory 于 2003 年推出。该公司今年早些时候宣布，该游戏迄今已创造了超过 40 亿美元的收入，并积累了超过 1.8 亿的注册用户。
