据 CoinDesk 报道，视频游戏开发商 CCP Games 完成 4000 万美元融资，a16z 领投，Makers Fund、Bitkraft、Kingsway Capital、Hashed 和 Nexon 等参投。新资金将帮助 CCP Games 扩大其研发团队，以帮助创建一个基于区块链的大型多人在线（MMO）游戏项目，该项目设置在 Eve Online 的宇宙中，即该工作室在 2003 年首次发布的先驱性网络游戏。
据悉，a16z 在 2022 年 5 月宣布了它的第一个游戏专用基金，承诺资本为 6 亿美元。
