3月17日消息，苹果一项新专利获得批准， 配备柔性屏幕的iPhone/iPad在掉落时可以自动折叠屏幕，减少屏幕损伤。
专利申请显示，具有可折叠和可滚动显示器的移动设备可以使用传感器来检测垂直加速度，以确定移动设备是否已掉落。
如果传感器检测到移动设备已掉落，可折叠设备可以至少部分缩回，以防止脆弱的显示屏撞击地面。
垂直加速度超过预定阈值时，可以激活电子设备的第一显示器和第二显示器之间的铰链连接的释放机制。
