Hey Product Hunt!

Ali here, one of the founders of Circleback. Launching on PH has always been special to me and I'm really excited to share what we've been building.

Circleback is your second brain for meetings. It crafts automated notes that are divided up by topic and include action items, whips up follow-up emails, and lets you ask questions about past meetings like you would ChatGPT.

To get started, paste in the link to your next meeting and hit record. Circleback works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and BlueJeans with support for more platforms coming. Once the meeting ends, you'll be able to see the automated notes and follow-up emails which you can touch up as necessary, as well as the transcript.

Click search or press ⌘K and ask a question like "which restaurant was suggested for the team happy hour?" to get an answer with reference to the relevant portions of past meeting transcripts.

Based on feedback from our early users, we recently launched Teams which allows you to share meetings with your teammates on Circleback, as well as search across all shared meetings.

Take Circleback for a spin and let us know what you'd like to see us build next!

@ialigator Congratulations on the launch! Let's connect on Twitter. If you have a question about design, feel free to contact me.

I had been thinking about using Otter AI for meeting transcriptions so this is timely. How do y'all differ from them?

@david_glass Hi David, Otter gives you a transcript with a basic summary that points you back to the transcript, effectively making you do all the reading. We believe that takes too much time and is unnecessary.

Circleback creates an understandable summary with an overview, the various topics you discussed (along with sub-bullet points within those topics) and an "action items" so you can quickly see what you need to do. Circleback also creates a follow-up/recap email for you.

On top of that, Circleback allows you to search by asking questions like you would on ChatGPT, instead of searching for keywords like the old days. So you can ask it something like "what are Moody's top priorities?" and it will give you an answer + context while pointing you to the section in the transcript.

Ultimately, only you can be the judge based on your needs. Would love to hear your experience if you get around to trying Circleback.

I‘m an executive assistant and Circeback has been my favorite transcription app thus far. Support is wonderful, responsive, and really receptive to feedback. The AI summaries generated are the best I've seen so far. They're fantastic and super helpful when I'm joining in on techy meetings and have no idea what anyone is talking about. But the AI assistant you can ask questions to is the total game changer. I can really see the potential and imagine it'll only get even more awesome. Well done, team!
@svetlana_dubkova Thank you for the support and for all your feedback on how we can make it even better!
