美国民营航天公司相对论空间原定于美东时间3月8日从卡纳维拉尔角首次发射“人族1号”，但由于超出了第二级推进剂热条件的发射承诺标准限制，发射被取消。
北京时间3月9日，相对论空间宣布，下一次发射窗口期确认为美东时间3月11日13:00-16:00。
今日，“人族1号”火箭又一次被迫推迟发射计划，火箭在三个小时的窗口期内多次尝试发射，并克服了各种障碍，
第一次尝试时上层大气出现强风，第二次因一艘船离发射场太近，第三次则因发动机未能点火直接宣告“失败”，意味着发射再次被推迟。
发射主管表示，该火箭的九个Aeon 1发动机曾短暂点火，但因“违反发射提交标准”而关闭，最终在升空前不到半秒自动中止。该公司称是火箭级分离自动化的问题导致点火中止。
