路透社：腾讯取消 VR 硬件计划，缩减元宇宙部门人员与成本
2 月 17 日，据路透社援引消息人士报道，腾讯控股（0700.HK）正在放弃进军虚拟现实（VR）硬件的计划，将削减其元宇宙部门的成本和员工。
据悉，腾讯于去年 6 月推出了 “扩展现实” XR 单元中构建虚拟现实软件和硬件，并为此雇佣了近 300 名员工。
此外，腾讯还表示，不会彻底解散该部门。
