The Apple Mixed Reality is a legendary device that has been stealing the headlines in recent years. After multiple delays, the company’s next revolutionary product is finally set to debut in 2023. As per a new report, the device will finally debut in June, during the company’s developer conference, the WWDC 2023. Sounds imminent? Well, take in mind that this has been in development since 2015, and has been postponed multiple times. In fact, the June schedule is determined after another delay.

The Apple Mixed Reality headset was expected for June 2022, but then, it was delayed until January 2023. January came, and another delay to a very vague “Spring” timeline. Now, a new delay pushes the device’s release to June 2022. Is it ever coming? We can’t discard new delays, but for now, let’s embrace ourselves and hope for a release at the WWDC 2023.

Worth noting, that Apple did not give any news regarding to the product. So treat this as a rumor. Anyway, the report says that Apple had some hardware and software issues. So it needed more time to polish the product and the software. The decision was actually made earlier this month. Also, although it will get an announcement at WWDC 2023, don’t expect it to hit the shelves immediately. In fact, it may only be available later this year. However, we can’t discard more delays after the announcement. Everything will depend on the demand and on the supply chain. Apple had issues with the shipments of the iPhone 14 series, we don’t think things will be smooth with a brand-new product like the Apple Mixed Reality headset.

As per the report “timing could always change again” but Apple is “intent on bringing the device to market by the end of 2023, if possible”. There are a lot of expectations for the new product, especially from Apple, which expects it to be a new hit in its portfolio.

The Apple Mixed Reality Headset will be the brand’s “next big thing”. The brand is trying to reduce reliance on iPhone sales and is keen that the new product can help in this regard. To those unaware, iPhone sales now account for 50% of its total revenue.

It may arrive as a refresh for Apple enthusiasts. After all, this year will not be the most interesting when it comes to Apple products. According to the rumors, there won’t be significant changes in the current portfolio of products, apart from a possible iPhone 15 Ultra.
