The launch of the iPhone 14 Pro series shook the world with the debut of Dynamic Island. And soon after the feature came to the wild, one immediately obvious thing was that Android would come out with a copy. Now, there are apps already available for bringing Dynamic Island to your Android.

However, that’s third-party support. What about the first-party Dynamic Island feature on Android smartphones? Well, previously, we came to know that Realme was working on a device with the feature built-in. And now, we got to learn that the Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G would actually be the first.

Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G Reinstates Dynamic Island on Android Will Be a Reality

You should note that the Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G is yet to hit the market. However, we did come to know a lot about what the phone will come with. And even though there are rumors regarding it being a rebranded phone, Xiaomi is certainly planning to integrate something new into the device.

The rumors hinted that the device would be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Civi 2. Even if that’s the case, the Civi 2 is unavailable in global markets. So, if Xiaomi has to rebrand the device as 13 Lite to launch it globally, there’s nothing wrong with it.

Nonetheless, the main thing is that the Xiaomi 13 Lite will likely be launched at the upcoming MWC 2023. And as far as Dynamic Island is concerned, it will utilize the full potential of the AMOLED display. But it will not be like the one found in the iPhones.

Xiaomi has not yet developed software that can do all the trickery that Apple’s Dynamic Island can do. Still, there is certainly a chance of Xiaomi developing something for the 13 Lite before it officially launches.
