The OnePlus Nord 3 has been awaited with a certain anticipation. Instead of bringing the new mid-range phone in 2022, OnePlus opted for a new revision for the OnePlus Nord. However, it seems that the new king of the company’s mid-range series is finally coming. Today, a set of leaked specifications have emerged. Apparently, the phone is not taking a major departure from the mid-range segment. In fact, it’s not really impressive. Apparently, OnePlus wants the OnePlus 11R to be the best cost-effective offering in its portfolio. That despite its limited availability.

OnePlus Nord 3 alleged specifications

Worth noting, that the new info is not verified. So it’s better to digest it with a pinch of salt. As per tipster Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata), the OnePlus Nord 3 will pack a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution. The device will bring a 120 Hz refresh rate. The tipster also states that the rumors pointing to a 1.5K display, the fancy name for 1440p panels, are incorrect. The phone will, in fact, come with a good and old 1080p resolution.

Under the hood, the OnePlus Nord 3 may come with the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 or Dimensity 8200. We believe that the latter is the best alternative, after all, it’s the newer on the Taiwanese chipmaker’s portfolio. It’s a decent chipset made on the 5nm process and featuring big ARM Cortex-A78 cores. It’s not on par with the latest offerings of the ARMv9 world, but again, this is a mid-range phone.

Remember when I told you to digest the news with a pinch of salt? The fact is that some of the specs here are speculative. The processor is one of these cases, and the battery is another. The leak points to a 4,500 to 5,000 mAh battery. So this is not exactly a leaked fact, but most likely speculation. Anyway, the OnePlus Nord 3 will come with 100W fast charging.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus Nord 3 will bring a 50 MP main camera with OIS. There will also be an 8 MP shooter for ultrawide shots and a third decorative sensor. For selfies and video calls, it will bring a 32 MP selfie shooter.

It’s better than the CE 3

Despite the smaller display, the OnePlus Nord 3 will be placed above the OnePlus Nord CE 3. The latter will bring a 6.7-inch Full HD+ screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It seems to be based on the Realme 10 Pro, so we are probably looking at an LCD panel. Moreover, it will bring the Snapdragon 695 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Storage. The phone will get a 108 MP main camera and two decorative 2 MP shooters.

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 looks like a Realme 10 series from another mother.
