Hello Product Hunt!

I’m Mac. Before I founded WebWave I was a software developer, and I created websites for clients as a side hustle. I was ace with code, but lacked the imagination and creativity necessary to design great websites. It helped me to realize, engineers only slow the process. Marketers and graphic designers should be in charge of web design. Creative people have all the skills and knowledge, but miss proper web design software. So I started creating a tool for designers so that they can create websites in an environment that is friendly and familiar to them.

Since then, WebWave has grown to over 500,000 users in the EU, and now we want to show WebWave to the rest of the World.

What makes WebWave unique? Our superpower is that WebWave looks and feels much like a graphic design tool, Figma, Canva, or Photoshop, rather than other website builders. There’s no invisible table in the background where you have to fit your elements. Instead, you’ve got the freedom and flexibility to position, resize, and style elements however you want. You can work with layers, and elements can overlay or overlap. We call this “true drag-and-drop” and it is tailor-made for creative people.

Thanks for supporting us, and we love to see your feedback in the comments!

PS. Big thanks to @chrismessina for hunting us and for your amazing advice!

I have been waiting for this launch for two months! Please share your thoughts about our graphical design approach to building websites!

Hey Founders and Makers, Congratulation on the recent launch of WebWave on the Product Hunt! 🎉 I think this is an easy and fast solution for startuppers who need to create websites for their projects.

By the way, why is WebWave better than existing solutions like Wix, Tulda, and others? What is your killer feature?

@denis_galka Hi thanks for kind words! Firstly Wix approach is that they will set up the website for you and we want to give freedom to create. @janusz_mirowski Cool! I like creative designs. What kind of websites I can create with WebWave? Is it just landing pages or it can for example e-commerce? Can I connect to the WebWave database?
@denis_galka You can do whatever you want. You can do webpage with blog or ecommerce. What do you mean by connect to the database? You can input HTML, CSS, JS to the body and head.

I love designing websites with WebWave is just like creating graphics with Photoshop, Figma or Canva. It means that you can position elements anywhere on the canvas, and work with layers with its pixel-perfect drag-and-drop website builder.

You must try it, it's fun designing websites with WebWave. Congratulations on the PH launch WebWave Team @mac_czaj @janusz_mirowski

@mac_czaj @growwithswapnil Thanks, this exactly what we think! I hope more people also will take advantage of our software! :)
