在半导体设备中，光刻机是核心设备，决定了工艺的先进程度，EUV是当前最先进的光刻机，可以制造7nm以下的工艺，全球仅有荷兰ASML公司能够生产，单价将近10亿元，下一代EUV甚至超过25亿元。
研发EUV光刻机到底有多难？全球还有别的公司可以制造出来吗？对于这样的疑问，ASML公司日前在财报会议上谈到了EUV的难点。
ASML表示，就ASML而言， 它由数百个供应商组成，每个供应商在什么方面都是世界级的。
只要提到通快、蔡司和VDSL的名字，他们的工作就是世界级的，这只是上百家供应商中的三个。
