本周早些时候，微软低调发布新补丁KB5021751。部分用户反馈，Windows 10/11系统均收到相关推送。
微软并没有避讳补丁作用，直言目的就是寻找过期的Office版本，包括Office 2013/2010/2007等，但目的何在则没有明确。
有猜测认为，微软可能是为了确定Office 2013/2010/2007当前的安装数量。该补丁只会静默运行一次，且不会额外在用户电脑上安装其它东西。
据悉，Office 2013定于2023年4月结束服务，微软正不遗余力推广Microsoft 365（原Office 365）。
