谷歌 Stadia 云游戏平台正式关闭
IT之家 1 月 19 日消息，谷歌今天正式关闭旗下 Stadia 云游戏服务。该服务于 2019 年 11 月推出，旨在支持在各种设备上玩基于云的游戏，包括 PC、Chromebook、Mac、iPhone 和 iPad。
2021 年初，在谷歌决定关闭其唯一的内部 Stadia 游戏开发工作室 Stadia Games and Entertainment (SG&E) 后不久，有关 Stadia 在游戏玩家中表现平平的报道开始出现，Stadia 成立仅两年。
自 2022 年 9 月宣布关闭该服务以来，谷歌一直在兑现承诺，向任何在其运营过程中购买 Stadia 服务的用户退款，包括游戏、可下载内容和该服务提供的控制手柄。谷歌公司于 11 月开始处理退款，此前曾表示预计将在平台关闭前处理“大部分”退款。
IT之家了解到，Stadia 控制手柄旨在通过 Wi-Fi 直接连接到 Stadia 服务器，而不是连接到主机或 PC，但每个控制手柄都包含一个未使用的蓝牙芯片。因此，谷歌为所有者提供了工具，使 Stadia 控制手柄能够启用蓝牙，这将允许它们在 Stadia 平台关闭后可搭配本地设备使用。
谷歌上周发布了一款最后的 Stadia 游戏 Worm Game，这是一款测试游戏，标志着关闭到来。
在平台关闭前的几个月里，Stadia 商店已经关闭，Stadia 平台上的所有商业活动都已结束，包括游戏内交易。
