前不久PS5到底应该横放还是竖放的问题引起玩家热议，由于设计问题， 竖直摆放主机可能会导致用于冷却APU的液态金属溢出， 影响主机的冷却效果，最终可能导致PS5遭到损坏。
今日，PlayStation官方发布新手设置PS5引导教程，其中提及了近期受到关注的横放、竖放问题。
根据官方介绍，设定使用PS5主机时，请务必将底座安装到PS5主机。
安装底座的方式取决于用户要如何放置PS5主机。由此来看，官方对横放还是竖放并没有特别要求，
取决玩家需求。不过针对液金漏液问题，官方暂未公开回应。
不少玩家表示，自己长时间竖放并没有发生液态金属溢出的问题，并且不少人声称官方提供了竖放支架，竖放不会造成损失。
